Sebastian Vreemann has been tapped as Kappa’s new CSO
With the arrival of Sebastian Vreemann as CSO, the new management team at Kappa optronics is complete. Sales and Marketing Director Karl-Heinz Bornemann, 63, will embark on his well-earned retirement at the end of the year, following 7 successful years with Kappa. In his place, Sebastian Vreemann, 37, has been tapped as Kappa’s new CSO. Vreemann is an industrial engineer with extensive experience in international business. Having already assumed his position at Kappa on 1 September, he is looking forward to working together with international customers and partners: “The optronics market is in a strong growth phase. Kappa is active with vision solutions here in very demanding target industries. Together with our customers, we will continue to work hard and successfully to create safe and economical solutions to meet the challenges.” Joining in the effort is the newly formed team at the top surrounding Managing Director Christian Stick, including Arnd Dietrich zur Horst as CFO, having joined in May 2017. Taking over operations as COO is Stefan Ilse, previously responsible for Quality Management at Kappa. Tried and true management of Development continues with Axel Zimmer as CTO.
